Summary
  • Godzilla begins with a series of mysterious commercial-vessel disasters at sea. Eventually, the cause is found to be a giant creature whose body carries evidence of exposure to hydrogen-bomb testing. A paleontologist wants to study the beast, to discover how it survived levels of radiation that would have been lethal to any other living thing, while the officials want to destroy it
  • Godzilla, king of the monsters!: An American reporter investigating a series of mysterious disasters off the coast of Japan comes face to face with Godzilla, an ancient powerful creature capable of reducing Tokyo to smoldering rubble
