- Summary
- Devastating satire on the British upper classes stars Peter O'Toole as the 14th Earl of Gurney fresh from an insane asylum to claim his inheritance. Jack Gurney's mad goodness - he believes himself to be Jesus Christ - is contrasted with the rest of the family's sane evil. He finally is "cured" and becomes a blood thirsty Tory who is therefore sane and eminently acceptable to the House of Lords
