Their love is sincere, but social differences may tear them apart." -- The dancing girl: "A Japanese man working in turn of the century Berlin fathers a child with an impoverished dancer. Together, they strive to build a home and family, but political difficulties force the father to choose between his career and the women he loves." -- A ghost story: "A blind lute player chants the old legend of a great battle between the Genji and Heiki families. His music attracts the attention of the Heiki dead, whose ghosts request a performance." -- Videodisc container
